The Learning Center at Philly 1st is the place to hear free lectures from an expert on ancient culture, a scholar who has spent years of his life studying at accredited colleges and universities in order to make sense of the Word of God.
Our own Pastor Kevin Derr unlocks many of the mysteries of the Bible and explains them in layman's terms, taking the confusion out of this too often ambiguous book. Dr. Derr explains Bible passages in the context of the Ancient world in which they took place. Understanding the Bible makes it much more interesting and makes it a more valuable tool for understanding your own life,

When? You have two choices: Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Large Lecture Hall (Church Sanctuary) or Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM in small group classroom study in the Blue Room.
